I’m a planner. This quote can sum me up completely when I take my “planning” a little too far…

“Honey, you like to chew on something until all the flavor is out of it, and then you stick it in your hair!”

Yep. Especially, when I think something is important. So I chewed on the prep for the demo we held two days ago, for a long time. I planned, I worried, I practiced and then the day came,  June 17th and it was 45 degrees Fareinheit and raining! Thank goodness we already had the event staged in an indoor arena. But still. 45 degrees in June. Are you kidding me!

Despite this…People came. Yea!

They participated. Yea! Yea!

They shared ideas with each other and the local press who were present. Yea! Yea! Yea!

Results…

A great article in the Couer d’Alene Press. A request for another demo for those who could not attend. Finally,  a request for EAP sessions from a family as a result of  the article.

Thank you to the Mica Foundation for the use of the facility, the horses and your ongoing support  of  local veterans and their families.

Thank you to the VFW Post 889, Spokane VA and local private supporters of our veterans.
